The 3rd meeting of the Multinational Aviation Training Centre (MATC) Steering Committee was held on Thursday, September 15th, 2016, at the HTP Ostrava CZ (Helicopter Training Point) in Mošnov, Czech Republic.
The Steering Committee representatives were briefed on the MATC ongoing projects and training activities, Programme of Work for 2017 (POW), and about the state of the accreditation process regarding certification of MATC by NATO HQ SACT (NATO Headquarters, Supreme Allied Commander Transformation) to NATO Military Body.
Within agenda, the session attendees discussed also the issues concerning POW evaluation and IOC/FOC (Initial Operational Capability / Full Operational Capability) Achievement evaluation.
As a last part of the 3rd MATC Steering Committee Meeting, Site Survey of the HTP Ostrava CZ brand-new facility with new capabilities for the simulated aviation training took place.
